India Cherry AB is a robust and economical choice for those who want the classic, high-intensity flavor of Indian sun-dried Robusta. The “AB” grade is a combination of A and B bean sizes (typically Screen 15, 16, and 17). Because these beans are Natural Processed (Cherry), they spend a significant amount of time drying in the sun, which develops a heavy, fermented body and a distinctively “toasty” aromatic profile.

While the bean sizes vary more than in a straight “AA” lot, Indian sorting standards remain high. This grade is prized for its ability to provide a massive caffeine boost and a thick, stable crema at a very competitive price point.
